For more than 30 years we have been seeing people with (pain) complaints in our clinic. These include clients in the abdomen, low back, pelvis, hips, buttocks and pelvic floor from all over the world. Often these are people who have been looking for help to reduce their symptoms for years. People who have been told that nothing has been found. People have often been told that their symptoms are probably due to an overactive nervous system. These are often people who have been evaluated by many specialists. But whose various assessments have never been compared and looked at as a whole. We also see people who have been diagnosed by health care providers with insufficient knowledge of and experience with the wide range of symptoms that pelvic pain entails.
Creation of F-act Pelvic Pain Clinic
After 20 years of trying to help these people with often complex symptoms in our pelvic physical therapy practice, we founded F-act Pelvic Pain Clinic in 2011, A private clinic where we, rather than the insurance companies, can determine what is needed to assess and reduce pelvic pain symptoms.
A different approach for each system
We do extensive physical examination in the clinic. We consider all the systems and factors that influence the onset and maintenance of symptoms. You could compare it to colored threads (a different color for each system) that have become tangled over time.
